It wasn’t supposed to be this way.

When I had my celebration, welcoming me to womanhood, I thought I was going to have a happy life.

Only, since that day, nothing has gone right. People don’t even want to be around me anymore. And that priestess said I would marry a monster.

So what choice did I have but to run?

But as I ran, the fates had other plans – leading me to a strange man who offered to help me.   A very strange man who has magic of some kind and is most definitely hiding something. He also has strange friends who aren’t quite human.

Is he the monster I was warned about?

This retelling of Eros/Cupid and Psyche is the first book in the exciting new Flames of the God fantasy romance series; where you will encounter divine wonders and timeless romances in Grecia; where myths are real, and gods and mortals search for their "forever flame".

Mythical Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe

Savor 'Flames of the Gods' inspired Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dressing - a mythical twist for romance and ancient Greek food lovers

Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese Dressing

In the mystical realm of Grecia, there existed a culinary secret that merged the divine essence of blue cheese and the creamy embrace of Greek yogurt. This enchanting elixir, whispered to awaken passion and desire, was a testament to the love stories that unfolded in those bygone times.

Blue cheese, believed to be a gift from Dionysus, possessed a flavor that ignited the senses like a celestial dance. Greek yogurt, bestowed by Hera, was a symbol of nourishment and vitality. Together, they created a dressing that mirrored the epic love tales of ancient Greece.

Crafted with the wisdom of Athena and the artistry of Hephaestus, this dressing united Greek yogurt's smoothness with blue cheese's captivating complexity. Buttermilk, lemon juice, and a hint of white wine vinegar harmonized like Apollo's lyre, while garlic added intrigue. A sprinkle of salt and dash of pepper were divine blessings. As the flavors mingled, this elixir became a kiss of love and desire, a testament to the enduring magic of Grecia.

Ingredients:

🥄🍲1 cup Greek yogurt (the thicker, the better)
🥄🍲1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
🥄🍲1/4 cup buttermilk
🥄🍲2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
🥄🍲1 clove garlic, finely minced
🥄🍲Salt and pepper to taste
🥄🍲Optional: a dash of white wine vinegar for added tang

Steps:

Summon the Yogurt: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, as smooth and luscious as a maiden's cheek.

Alchemy of Liquids: Gently pour in the buttermilk and lemon juice, blending the two like a sorcerer mixing potions. Should you desire a tangier touch, add a dash of white wine vinegar. Stir these well, ensuring a blend as harmonious as a siren's song.

The Aromatics: With the reverence of an oracle, mince the garlic clove and sprinkle it into the potion, releasing its poignant aroma into the mixture.

Seasoning's Grace: A sprinkle of salt, a dash of pepper; these are the finishing touches, the fairy dust upon this gastronomic spell. Use them wisely, tasting as you go.

The Final Stir: With a wooden spoon as your wand, stir the mixture until all elements are as one, united in their quest to dazzle taste buds.

Rest and Revelation: Allow the dressing to sit, covered, in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This lets the ingredients mingle, swap stories, and deepen their flavors like heroes on a long quest.

The Grand Unveiling: Drizzle your mystical creation over a crisp salad, or perhaps as a dip for fresh vegetables. Each bite will transport its consumer to a realm where flavors are gods and the mere mortals who partake are forever blessed.
